Suspension of license after fatal accident in Rosario

The Provincial Road Safety Agency suspended the driver's license of Agustín López Gagliasso following the tragic accident that resulted in the death of two people in Rosario. Pablo Javkin, the city's mayor, condemned the driver's actions and highlighted the seriousness of the case.

The Provincial Road Safety Agency formalized the suspension of the driver's license of Agustín López Gagliasso, after hitting and causing the death of Tania Gandolfi, 41, and her daughter Agustina García, 16. Resolution No. 0008 details that a preventive suspension of Gagliasso's license was requested due to the accident on January 21 in Rosario, in which two people lost their lives and another was injured.

The Provincial Road Safety Agency ordered the relevant department to preventively suspend Gagliasso's driver's license. Additionally, the youth's background was mentioned, which includes a disqualification effective from August 3, 2023, to September 2, 2023, as well as various infractions for speeding, running a red light, invading exclusive lanes, and illegal parking. According to official records, Gagliasso accumulated three fines in 2024.

Regarding the case, the mayor of Rosario, Pablo Javkin, denounced the driver's attitude and stated that the evidence is conclusive. Javkin, through his social networks, shared the route taken by Gagliasso in his car before the fatal accident, demonstrating that he exceeded the speed limits allowed in urban areas three times, resulting in a fine of $225,750.

"The images are conclusive. The driver killed, and there is no situation that justifies such criminal behavior," Javkin expressed about the tragic event and the history of infractions of the involved.
